Southwestern STEM exists to inspire and empower students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through hands-on learning and real-world challenges. Our goal is to build confident problem-solvers, creative thinkers, and future innovators by providing opportunities to design, build, code, and compete in STEM-based programs such as FIRST Lego League and FIRST Tech Challenge competitions. We strive to make STEM accessible, exciting, and meaningful for students of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Through teamwork, mentorship, and project-based learning, we help students develop technical skills while also building leadership, communication, and perseverance. Whether members pursue careers in STEM or simply gain valuable life skills, we aim to prepare them for success in school, careers, and beyond.
We started in 2017 and have continued to grow ever since.
We advanced to the state competition 2 years in a row for the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons.
